On April 1, 2017, I made my way to 23rd
Street Brewery for the Oregon vs. North Carolina game. This was the game to
head to the championship. Normally known for a KU atmosphere, but there was
a hint of North Carolina applauds because of Roy Williams. Saturdays their
drinks consist of specialty drinks for $7 and their wine bottles are discounted
for $5 off. 23rd Street Brewery prides themselves in creating and
offering craft beers of outstanding quality. Crimson Phog, Rock Chalk Raspberry
Wheat, The Bitter Professor, and Wave The Wheat are just some of the beers that they brew themselves. Some of the beers that they brew are also located in
other restaurants throughout Kansas. Their food is nothing short of excellent
as well. They have everything from the Bill Self Pasta to crafting your very
own calzone. Their craft beer might be a little pricey but combined with their exquisite
cuisine, the price is fairly reasonable and affordable.
